Die Karnevals-Tage habe ich mich um die Anfertigung einer Deluxe Vinyl Version meines neuen Albums gekümmert - einer meiner Träume, dass es mich mal auf Vinyl gibt! Ihr könnt euch euer Exemplar sichern (und mich großartig damit unterstützen), indem Ihr die Schallplatte auf Bandcamp vorbestellt - Mitte Mai sollte ich Sie aufjedenfall erhalten haben und verschicken können.

Überraschung! Endlich kann ich euch mitteilen, dass mein neues Album am kommenden Sonntag, dem 3. Advent (15. Dezember) auf allen Streaming-Plattformen wie Spotify, Itunes, Bandcamp, Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon Music und Youtube erscheinen wird.
„Broke But Happy (At Lake Success)“ ist mein erstes vollständiges Singer-Songwriter-Album und ich habe die gesamte Produktion vom Spielen der Instrumente über die Aufnahme bis hin zum Mix und Mastering selbst übernommen. Es fängt mich als vagabundierenden Straßenmusiker und leidenschaftlichen Studiomusiker in einem Selbstporträt ein.
Ich habe unendlich viel Zeit damit verbracht, das Album zu "schmieden", dabei floss jedoch die meiste Zeit ins Experimentieren mit mir selbst, um ein besserer Studiomusiker, Songwriter und Produzent zu werden. Ich möchte dem MKW NRW und der GVL für ihre Stipendien für verschiedene Teile des Projekts (Musik & Video) danken und am Ende habe ich viele Extrameilen alleine zurückgelegt, um mit dem endgültigen Album zufrieden zu sein.

Ich möchte allen danken, die mich auf meiner Reise unterstützt oder mir Inspiration dazu gegeben haben. Musik ist nicht immer eine einfache Reise (eigentlich das Gegenteil: wie ging der Spruch von Nietzsche mit dem Abgrund noch gleich), aber ich liebe die Freiheit und Zeit, meine eigene zu kreieren und das Gefühl zu haben, dass ich immer weitere Ideen habe. Und das Wichtigste: Musik gibt mir das Gefühl, etwas Sinnvolles und Bleibendes für mich und meine Mitmenschen zu tun.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
Finally I'm happy to announce that my new album will be released next Sunday on the 3rd advent (15th December) on all streaming platforms like Spotify, Itunes, Bandcamp, Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon Music and Youtube.
Broke But Happy (At Lake Success)" is my 1st full singer-songwriter record and I did the full production from instruments playing and recording to mix and mastering by myself. It captures me as a vagabonding busker and passionate musician in a self-portrait.
I spent endless time getting this done, but mostly to become a better studio musician, songwriter and producer. I would like to thank the MKW NRW and GVL for their scholarships of different parts of the project (music & video) and in the end I went many extra miles on my own to feel satisfied with the final album.
If you want to support me, get the HD master files here on Bandcamp on release day. I'm also planning a release show in February and many more shows to come during 2025.
I'd like to thank all who supported me on my journey or gave me inspiration to do so. Music is not always an easy journey (actually the opposite), but I love the freedom and time to create my own and feel like not running out of ideas. And most important: I feel like doing something useful and lasting for myself and other people.

Happy Eastern everyone!
My final pre-single "Under Northern Skies" is released today and I'm happy how the music video turned out, which I filmed last week in Riva Del Garda at dawn on my own:

In the next 2 months I will finish mixing and printing the final album and I also did plan already a tour and won over locations from Berlin, over Hamburg to Köln. More information soon! I also found a publisher for the printed Vinyl Edition (I know religion, but it feels so peaceful...).
